Conveyor belt systems serve a simple purpose: they help bring things from one location in a warehouse to another. One big advantage of conveyor belt systems is that they allow a lot more operation without direct human oversight. They run almost completely on their own, requiring only the occasional examination to ensure that there is no damage and no problems. Otherwise, a properly designed system will continue to function perennially, and typically will do so almost entirely flawlessly.
